What kind of trips do you run?
Pretty much anything you can dream up! Examples from the past include: skydiving, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, skiing, hiking, hang gliding, SCUBA diving.
How do I sign up for all of these great trips?
With our new website, you can sign up right here. Create an account and click the sign up button next to any trip. You'll then have until our next meeting to pay for your trip and finish reserving your spot. If you don't pay by that Wednesday, you'll risk forfeiting your spot if we have a waiting list.
Do I need any outdoors experience to go on the trips?
The trips have a wide range of activities and necessary skill level, but all are open to anyone of any skill level. You're likely to be in mixed company with near-pros and people trying it out for the first time.
Can I rent equipment to take on a trip of my own?
Yes! OE has a shed full of outdoors gear, from backpacks to cooking equipment to tents and sleeping bags—whatever you need to get outdoors, we probably have! Our equipment managers would be more than happy to meet you at the equipment shed, which is located on Peavine next to the Asbury House.
How do I get more involved in OE?
The best way to get involved in OE is to become a leader, which involves attending our Leadership School, held both semesters. To learn more about leadership training, visit our Leadership tab.
